Where in London would I be able to get cheap styled haircuts for men?

When I say 'styled', it doesn't have to be anything Toni & Guy, but I mean something more than what your average barber for a tenner does.

I'm thinking in the region of £15-30....

I'm a full-time student so I don't have a lot of money to spare, but I do like my hair to have some sort of shape to it. Not just your short back and sides.

I don't mind anywhere in zone 1 or 2, or zone 3 if it's especially good. Also interested in offers that might be going.

Not a bloke myself I can only advise on model cuts which I get for free/low payment, I look on gumtree for model hair cuts and weed out the genuine posts!

Failing that, Toni and Guy academy need models quite a bit- they have their academy for cuts at Tottenham Court Road, just across from where Argos is. You need to get there early, but can go in any time (mon-fri 9-5) to ask about an appointment. Normally there is a fee but don't think its anywhere near £15!

Otherwise, places like Supercuts do cheaper hair cuts, and local salons- if your a uni student, £15 to £30 should be enough for a standby at most hair salons which are non branded. Take a look through the yellow pages/yell.com or ask around for your local salon and ask about standby prices. (Standby is where you just go in and get your hair done if there are any free spots) best times are normally tues-weds day times for that as most salons have most of the customers thur-sat ready for nights out.

I would try a local colledge that has a hairdressing section, the one near me does cuts for £1 !

the people doing the cuts are all 2nd & 3rd year students so are not completely new and ' so far :) ' I have not had any bad experiences

you could also try trevor sorbie in covent garden, or Glamour Junkies, 020 7096 5011, 68a Neal Street, or John Freida.

as mentioned above gumtree is well worth a look - the ones around shoreditch / old street should be pretty funky
