Microsoft IT Test

I have a Microsoft IT Test on Friday and have no idea what to expect. Has anyone attended one of these tests? The letter states it should take about an hour.

I have been searching the internet to find some practice questions but can't find anything.

Comments

  • Is it for the microsoft office specialist? or for another qualification?
  • The letter states Microsoft Office IT Test. Its for an admin position. You need to be familiar with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access. I need to brush up on Excel and Powerpoint, have no idea about Access and would be confident at Word. Any help would be welcome.
  • Best bet when the tests are so close, google for "ecdl practise tests" I'm currently studying my ecdl and have just completed access, word and excel, but I haven't any way to help you online as our tests are all held in the centre.

Another option is to sign up with Alison.com
they offer a free online course called ABC IT, similar to the ECDL and it might get you enough practice before Friday to brush up on your skills?
ABC IT-2 (Applications) Introduces the learner to the Microsoft Office 2003 application suite, the most commonly used office-software application package worldwide. This suite includes MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Another option is to trot down to the library and see if they have any books on the ECDL that would help.

Let me know how you get on :)

This is not an official microsoft test - its probably one theyve made up featuring various MS office tasks.

ECDL practice tests would be a good start
