£10.00 Littlewoods Voucer for spending £5.00

Options
Hi everyone,

I've just joined the forum so I can share this with you. If you spend £5.00 at a Help the Aged charity shop (I bought Christmas cards from their shop in York), you will be given a free energy saving light bulb and a £10.00 voucher to spend at Littlewoods.com.

I redeemed my voucher yesterday and purchased an 'Iggle Piggle' jeans and hoodie outfit for my 3 year old Godson. It was originally £21.50 but reduced to £9.50. There was a £1.00 charge for paying by debit card, which brought my purchase to £10.50, allowing me to redeem my £10.00 voucher. With free standard delivery, I TRULY ONLY PAID 50P FOR THE ENTIRE OUTFIT. What's more, the parcel was waiting for me when I got home from work at 5pm today!!! I know this sounds too good to be true but t realliy isn't.

The only points to be aware of are that you will probably have to place your order over the phone as the redemption codes don'e seem to be valid online (even though the conditions state it is for use at Littlewoods.com) and that an initial charge for the full amount (in my case £10.50) will be debited from your card but as soon as the item is dispatched you will receive a £10.00 instant refund. The advisor explained that this is to prevent the multiple use of codes etc. Also, the small print states £10.00 off your first pourchase so not sure if this can be used by existing Littlewoods customers.

Please do visit your local Help the Aged shop - the Littlewoods vouchers can be redeemed up to 30.12.09 so great for Christmas shopping!

Hi, I expect they are giving the same code out to everyone, if you wanted to you could post it in the discount forum.
  • didnt have this offer in our local store

our local stagecoach buses also had offer leaflets of £10 off but it clearly states first order only
  • not bad for 50p!

  • My reply is mainly for FloFlo - I must have misunderstood the ethos of this site as I believed it was about sharing legitamate discounts and not trying to take adavantage of the organisations offering them, which in this case is a charity. I shared the information as I believed that it would help boost sales for Help the Aged whilst helping the consumer to receive a decent discont at Littlewoods (who in turn presumably benefit from the publicity / increased site traffic).

Well said Allie - and thanks for the original tip. (But perhaps Flo was just saying you COULD post it rather than suggesting you SHOULD!)

No probs if its a first order discount only then there are many readily available anyway so not a great inducement to make a purchase to get the discount.
