Our venue requested we had 50 for sit down and 150 for evening but after many friends and family had proir arrangements we renegotiated 30 for sit down and 80 for evening.
Hoping to have a top table for 8 then a horse shoe shaped table for remaining guests.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

I had 35 for a sit down meal. We used 5 round tables (including top table) and put us in the middle of the room. Not really sure what you are asking?0

We have 30 for the sit down meal, all on round tables (no 'Top Table') We have also hired a magician for the early part of the evening do (expecting 60-80 in total) to help get 'things' going!!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0

i thought people had more for the sit down meal so feel abit better now :-)
just asking how many people people have and what plans you've got for when you arrive at the venue to when you have the night do really0 -
We're only have 44 in total, sit down meal and evening, mostly because we moved away so everyone is having to travel and we haven't been here long enough to meet many people yet, so the friends we have made here are invited to the whole thing.
Although it wouldn't be possible for us to have some for sit down and some for evening I think I would still prefer it this way anyway. That way everybody shares the whole day together. In my view if they are important to us we want them there for the whole thing, and if they are not, we say we're keeping it small and we hope they understand.
Of course that's easy for me to say as my situation made it pretty clear cut, and I know how difficult who to invite can gat, but in my opinion it makes it esasier.0 -
we're having 60 for the meal and a further 60 for the evening but this is included in a package that could work out more if we have less people because everything (venue, 3 course meal, drinks package, dj/disco, decorating venue, wedding planner, evening buffet and some other little bits) is included.0

i think my prob is because we have 2 rooms
ie:id like my cake to b seen but not moved so dont know where to put it and unsure what to put on the tables in the other room because we would of eaten in the other room so the tables will b bear lol0 -
^It depends on what entertainment you are having for the evening, and are you having a buffet?
I think it would be nice to have the cake in the room you are all going to be eating in. Keep the second room for the 'night time party' (you will need somewhere for everyone to go while the meal room is being cleared) so you could have a little decoration, maybe balloons if you like them, and you could also ask the staff to move the table decs through when they clear the tables.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
