EGG Card Repayment Arrangement

Three months ago, I agreed with Egg that I could pay reduced payments while I found myself a permanent job.
Although I am working, I am working as a temp and therefore cannot be considered as being in continuous employment.
I rather naively assumed that as I still haven't got a permanent job, they would be kind enough to extend my repayment plan. I was wrong, they didn't want to know, they just told me to get in touch with CCCS. Apparently, you can only go onto an arrangement with them once each year and I have had that.
I am really frustrated that as all the other credit card companies I deal with have agreed to reduced payments for 1 year I assumed Egg would want to help.
I told them that I am willing to keep paying the amount I am. I told them that I don't want to go bankrupt, but they said they cannot offer me any advice.
Any one else had problems with them?
Sorry for rambling.

I've been on a repayment plan between myself and egg for a card and loan for nearly 2 and a half years now, so dont know what they are talking about.
They contact me every six months and we go through and changes etc, even though there arent any, and they continue the agreement.0 -

Thank you for your replies.
I have sought advice from CCCS who suggest that I write to them with a breakdown of my outgoings. I will tell them what I can afford to give them each month and if they don't like it then if they decide to take me to the small claims court, then so be it.
I was advised not to let them bully me into paying more than I can afford. If they do decide to take me to the small claims court, I hope the judge will agree to the amount I say I can afford to pay.0
