How long before the heavy mob come round?

Got a judgement against me while I was on holiday saying I have to pay All & L (thru Shoosmiths) £6.933.24.

I was paying them a nominal amount each month that they agreed to since 2007. They wanted more and I didn't have it.

Judgement was on the 28th August I was wondering how long it would be before they send the bailiffs.

I am currently filling in an N245 to try and get a hearing to pay a monthly amount I can afford.

What sort of Judgement CCJ?

They need to go back to court to get permission to send bailiff and this is very unlikely to be agreed if it is a comsumer debt, almost unheard of.

I think Ras was asking if you had a mortgage as they may place a charging order over your property. Not 100% tho and not sure the ins and outs of a charging order.

Cant see them sedning bailifs round as they have no power except to try bully you into paying. If a bailif does turn up refuse to open the door to them and advise that all correspondencewith them should be in writing
