Market Cross jewellers are a local firm to the north east and they have some lovely rings for under your budget. I've been to the Middlesbrough and Guisborough store, not sure if there is one in Newcastle. The rings there are typically about 25% cheaper than the big chain jewellers.
We got mine from 365 diamonds. It's based in the Jewellery quarter in Birmingham, and you can build your own ring. There are some options on there in your budget, we paid around 52% of the price for mine that we would have paid if we had walked into a shop on the high street and I absolutely love it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That ring is stunning - I want it :-) :-)
Now desperately scouring ebay to find same/similar ring.

When scouting out rings I found that even on the high street pices can vary alot. Beaverbrooks is quite expensive when compared to such as Ernest Jones. We've bought this one

I am over the moon with it, not outrageous and a bit different :-)

I bought one a size too small and beaverbrooks charged I think it was £20 to have it re-sized and cleaned so it looked brand new.basscadette wrote: »That ring is stunning - I want it :-) :-)
