School uniform reduced at Sainsbury's

Apologies if this has been posted already - i did do a search and it came up with nothing....and I dont want anyone to miss out!

Just been into my local Sainsburys and they have slashed the price of most of the uniform items.

Single pairs of trousers and single skirts were £1, twin packs of skirts or trousers £2
Pinafores £2
packs of tights/socks, plain sweatshirts and packs of polo shirts were all £1
Cardigans, school shoes and trainers were £3

The stuff was flying off the racks as you can imagine.

I'm guessing this will be only at the stores which don't stock clothes all the time. They will be wanting to clear the aisle as quick as possible to get the back to uni stock in and then the Christmas stock. Stores which sell clothes will have room to keep the uniform around for longer.

For anyone who does not have a Sainsburys nearby which sells school clothes, check out your local ASDA.
I was walking through this morning and staff were putting sale stickers on all school clothes - e.g. - pack of 2 white school blouses only £1, etc
Seemed to be at least half price.
    hth someone.;)

My local Sainsburys has reduced them as of today (Tuesday) - definitely not reduced yesterday. Same prices as in OP. I think you just have to keep having a look in store to see when your local shop makes the reductions.
  • asdas have reduced some bits, trousers and skirts, nothing in the sizes i need offcourse!!

Just read on Hot Deals that uniform is reduced at shops where they don't usually sell clothes. That may explain why it is not in every store.
