Northern Rock Together Mortgage - Question....
Comments
-
Sorry to hijack your thread craig.
Does anyone know if it is possible to clear the mortgage part of the together mortgage and then keep the loan going, obviously changing it to a shorter period of time. As this is an unsecured loan it will not be tied to your property?
don't bother trying to shorten term... just overpay... if you want to pay it off in 10 years NR will give you a quote and you can set SO/DD to that amount and it will be paid off in that period.
on unsecured loans there are no ercs/closing fees.0 -

Since when?
My NR Together mortgage was switched to the SVR one week ago on 01/09/09.0 -
Guess I read that wrong somewhere then, that's a bit of a releif.
Seems as though we are getting out of recession now and hopefully house prices will hold out (or even increase a little) over the next 2 years.
Think I just need to overpay where I can and keep my fingers crossed0
