don't bother trying to shorten term... just overpay... if you want to pay it off in 10 years NR will give you a quote and you can set SO/DD to that amount and it will be paid off in that period.

on unsecured loans there are no ercs/closing fees.

My NR Together mortgage was switched to the SVR one week ago on 01/09/09.

all products switch to svr at end of deal.

Guess I read that wrong somewhere then, that's a bit of a releif.

Seems as though we are getting out of recession now and hopefully house prices will hold out (or even increase a little) over the next 2 years.

Think I just need to overpay where I can and keep my fingers crossed
