As we are currently on the way to an IVA, I am trying to eat out of the cupboards for the last 2 weeks of the month.
I have some wrinkly and soft plums and blueberries that a month ago I would have thrown away, I was thinking of stewing them to then add to yogurt, but not sure how to do that, any other ideas????????
HELP!

Use the plums in a crumble and the blueberries in muffins
To stew just chop the fruit up small and heat in a saucepan with a bit of sugar until it all breaks down, you may need to add a splash of water to stop is sticking if your saucepan base is quite thin0 -
once you've stewed them they'll freeze nicely for you to use later on if you don't have ingredients to go with them. You could also make a regular victoria sandwich mix - stick the raw, chopped plums in a dish with a bit of sugar on top, but the cake mixture on top and bake for a lush easy pudding. We freeze blueberries/raspberries etc. raw, cook porridge, pop a few frozen berries in the bowl and pile the cooked porridge on top - they are nice and defrosted, but still whole when you get to them.0
