well, i should of got my 1st payment around the 19th august. Today i have called (again) spoken to a manager who said...
employer is quite complex in the fact that it outscourses payroll,a nd then the payroll send the payslips and employer pays.. i thought this was quite common, but thats not the issue
Employer says they sent cheque 2 weeks ago, csa been chasing in that time, employer says cheque been cashed, csa say its not - csa have gone back to emplyer for cheque number as they cant locate my payment..
All in all, question is does anyone have any experience HOW LONG UNTIL THIS GETS SORTED?? When can my son expect to get what he is entitled to?
All the csa manager said was it was dealt with by another team and he would call them 'personally' to get it rectified..today.
I am very reluctant to believe a word that come out their mouths atm, so anyone been in simular situ?
I KNOW they are understaffed, overworked etc but that doesnt help me, nor does it help my son. Everything about my case hs gone wrong from my sons name, which they still have as incorrect! To ex's employer details to the DEO not being issued correctly
ALSO, the amount i am due is more than the schedule plus arrears, i should be getting £109 plus arrears of £12 but the payment they are chasing and this months is at £209. Which isnt very fair on NRP as they are taking more than his payment schedule- but this has already been covered in another thread
TIA- sorry for the rant (again)

You really don't often get very far by ringing the CSA.
At this point, you'd probably be better off by putting everything in writing & keeping copies of everything & using recorded delivery from now on.
At least this way, they can't fob you off with any old rubbish without you having written proof of what they've said.
As for how long it will take, who knows? This is the CSA!!!!!Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!)

Oh i do! Any conversation i ever have with them they are made aware i am recording it on my mobile phone so i can re visit the points and can put the conversation into writting, i always then write what was spoken about along with action pionts and deadlines they have impossed on themselves, and i always offer a copy of the call and send all signed for delivery.
I always ask for written confirmation back to state what they have done since i spoke to them,a nd usually follow up points raised in previous letters. they are beginning to hate me, but its reciprocated!
But i am so in a fluster about the payment i simlpy couldnt wait 3 weeks for an answer from them.
To be honest, it makes no difference at all having things in writting - they still do very little and give the 'we re trying our best' 'its the employers fault' etc etc. I do it cause i know its deemed 'best practice' when dealing with them , it makes them respond with something they never action! lol.0 -
The team that allocate payments do not take phone calls from the public and are not even accountable to CSA staff. As such it is virtually impossible to get a timescale off them for action or for resolving a problem.
They do have clerical records of all the payments processed, so once they know around what date the cheque was cashed and what amount it was for they should be able to find it. CSA staff can't tell you how long it will take as the payment staff won't usually tell them.
Believe me, it won't be you that the CSA staff you are speaking to hate ..........0
