Letter from LC Finance

hi, i received a letter today from LC Finance saying i owe £191, the weird thing is i also received one for my grandma who died nearly 10 years ago, does anybody know why we both received these letters today?

    Hi mo,

    Sounds suspiciously like a Debt Collection Agency 'fishing expidition' to me - they're probably sending similar letters to anyone with a similar name in the hope of 'catching' some people willing to pay them money for a debt which might not even be theirs... :rolleyes:

    If you've got no idea what it could be fore, might as well bin it - although it might be interesting to hear what opinion Trading Standards have on them sending a debt letter to someone who passed away 10 years ago, as that could obviously cause some major distress to relatives
