    Hi
you can check the NHS direct website for local available dentists on NHS
I would change your mobile to PAYG and change your landline to someone else, tesco does a good package and you get clubcard points, can you get cheaper pet insurance, seems a bit sttep

Hiya! Thank you for your comments!! Always much appreciated! :D I have tried to register with an NHS dentist in this area and it's no go!! The amount that I pay each month equals over a year the amount I would pay anyway for 2 checkups and 2 scale and polish's. ..................................................... I spend more on PAYG than I do on contract (get 500 texts included and 3 hours of calls) and I need my BT line for my broadband, I don't make calls on it, if I ever do I use the prefixes. ...................................................... The pet insurance I've got at £9.52 is the cheapest I was able to find at the time :o Although wouldn't do me any harm to look around again. Thank you!! x

Hope you have a spiffing weekend hun!

    You truly do deserve it!
Just try not to think about the money, the exams etc for a couple of days, kick back, relax and enjoy the music. We can worry ourselves silly next week :)

  • Well, where are my manners!! Haven't posted for ages!!

Things have been going ok, plodding along really!!

Had a great weekend at Reading. Went with my budget and only spent that!:D

Still haven't decided what to do about my exams, think I may just not retake.

Debt busting is going pretty cool at the mo!! Currently paid off £450 and by the end of September hope to have increased this to £670!!

I have started doing mystery shopping, 3 assignments this week so that's £30! :D Not counted as income until next month though.

And got Quidco pennies mounting up. Got £60 so far and hope to increase this once I really get into my matched betting. And then there's the money from matched betting which I hope to make.

To clear my debt by May, which is my goal, I need to pay off £700 a month off my debts

Have been doing overtime in the office though and will get extra wages 3 months in a row- Aug, Sept and Oct. Might be able to get some in Nov. I've also signed up to do some electoral canvassing work and there is the potential to make quite a few squiddlies there!!

There is a rumour going round at the pub that they are going to be cutting shifts  which I can't really afford. So will have to wait and see what happens there. Normally get a bonus at Christmas from them for £100. Don't know what will be happening with that either.

    what else???

Got a friend coming to visit next weekend! should be good! A cheap MSE weekend!!

And........................it's my birthday next week!!!! :D

All in all feeling pretty positive at the moment!!!

Oh yeah, and bro is behaving himself!!! :D

  • What kind of pet are you insuring? Is it an old animal? I self insure my dogs - ie put the money in a separate account each month now have an emergency fund of £1800 - my biggest ever vets bill was for my old dog (now waiting at the rainbow bridge) for £1000 which included the vet hospital fees.
Do this and the money is there if you need it & more importantly still there if you don't (not in the insurance co profit account!)

Wow, never thought of that! I pay £18 a month, and still have to pay £65 excess. I think my doggy now needs her own account!:D
