HI there,
I know there are some recipes already on here but I need some quite specific recipes for my son school. One of the topics this term is 1930's and Forces including learning all about ww2 and rationing. One of the teachers is running an after school club all about ww2 cookery and I offered to help.
I need authentic (ish!!) recipes that can be prepared and cooked in an hour, as thats all the time we have from setting up to cleaning away or even prepared in an hour and then sent home to cook quickly.
Not all the parents in the school are cooks (a lot live on frozen convenience food) so we need to make sure they are fool proof, ie bung in the oven for 30 mins!!
The first session they will be learning about rations and how much each person actually had to eat for a week.
I know this might be a big ask for something quite so specific but all 22 kids at West and East Putford School say a big thanks.......
Yes it is a very small rural school in north devon......
THanks in advance
