Defaulted IVA

Some years ago we entered an IVA but defaulted. We have checked the insolvency register for England & Wales, we are not on it. Subsequently we are now paying creditors off, some of which we believe were in the IVA, is this legal on their part.
As the IVA was over 6 years ago, and weve had no contact with the company in question, can this now be classed as Statute Barred?
Any thoughts would be welcomed.
