really good fruit bread reciepe?

Does anyone have a really good fruit bread receipe? One that doesn't involve soaking the fruit overnight would be great.
My family will down the shop-bought stuff, but doesn't like my homemade -they say its too chewy! thanks

    Might do - will have a look. Measure how much water your bread pan takes (to the brim) in US CUPS. Then PM me and I'll see how many I have!
