Save my spag bol!

Just made a huge batch of spag bol for the freezer, and for no apparent reason I've added Thyme instead of Oregano.
It doesn't taste too bad, just a bit odd. Any thoughts on what I can add to make it work? I'm thinking chillies and beans of some sort to get a spicy tomato mince kinda of a thing, but obviously I'm not really thinking so I'd appreciate any suggestions.
(And it was 2kg of mince as it was mega reduced in the supermarket this morning to £2.65 a kilo, so I can try more than one suggestion I guess!)

Have you tried adding the oregano as well, according to this recipe both ingredients can be added....
