Another income tax refund question

I searched the forums and read a few threads about income tax refunds but am still unsure about what to send. My income is basically;

1. Salary (this is where I overpaid)
2. Savings account interest.
3. Dividends.

I know I need to send my P60 but do I also need to send bank account tax certificates and share dividend vouchers. I have quite a few of these. In other threads people have said "just send a letter and your P60 and P45". Is this assuming no other income? I've paid tax on all the savings but maybe have to prove this?

yep you need send in details of all your earnings (salary, dividends, bank or building society interest, and any other incomes)

Most people don't have dividends so thats why they aren't told to send in certificates)

when you apply for a refund of any overpaid tax you need to declare all taxable earings for the year.

Thanks for the quick response suso. I suspected as much but didn't want to send it all if I didn't need to!

Just in case you don't know, you will not get a refund in respect of the tax credit on the dividends.
