Tesco green clubcard points for recycling glass?

Hi folks,
Ive just got back from doing my weekly shop at Tesco, and as I was leaving, noticed that they now have one of those big electronic recycling centres in the car park. I noticed that there was a slot for your clubcard so came home and checked out Tesco's website to see if you could earn clubcard points for recycling. Looking at the website though, I couldnt find anything about earning green clubcard points on glass or plastic items, only for aluminium cans. Does anyone know if you do earn points for glass and other recyclables?
The thing is, I live Chelmsford and have a kerbside recycling collection every week so theres no real need for me to lug my recycling up the road to Tesco's, but if I can earn a few points out of it then I would.
Does anyone know anymore about earning green points for anything other than aluminium?
Cheers

According to a thread a couple of months ago it is only aluminium they give green points for. I think you had to give two or four cans to get one point.0

Yeh, thats what the website says as well. Shame.... I could have earned a few more points out of that. Ill just have to leave it out for the recycle bin men instead...

when these first came online you got points for glass, cans and plastic but i think costs have forced tesco to justs give the points for aluminium cans0

I think the problem was that when it first came out, the system was abused. A couple were in the paper a few years back where they managed to recycle cans, glass etc and it ultimately paid for their holiday to New Zealand. The problem was that they also highlighted a loophole where they would cut cans up (to make 2 or 3 seperate tin bits from one can) and the Tesco machine would count it as 2 or 3 seperate items, which ultimately lost Tesco money.
I know when we had a machine recently set up at our local Tesco, I was there in the first week and noticed a guy next to me who had buckets full of broken glass and shredded tin and was trying to feed in little bits at a time to try and get extra points. Unfortuneately, (and perhaps lucky for everyone else to stop it being abused) Tesco have got wise to this and he machine wouldn't accept it all and he got very little in the way of points, much to his annoyance.0
