Hi i had a wonga loan which i didnt pay back in April time. I know it was silly of me, but then i made an arrangement plan with them

They agreed to £94.22 per month for 6 months and have been taking that amount out each month without failure.

My last payment is due on the 30th of September of 94.22 and that should pay the loan off. Although on the Wonga website the amount due is £320 for some wierd reason but you can also see the payment arrangement created with the last payment stating as 30th of September. I did confirm with Wonga a few times on phone previously that the total amount was 94.22 X 6.

Now a letter has come from PDP Management Services Limited asking for a final demand of £380.69 even though i havent broke any agreement i had with wonga. They are asking it on behalf of wonga. How can this be possible when i have already been paying them every month and on their website it states the arrangement plan too. Also this PDP service is claiming that they have contacted me so many times prior but i have never recieved any other communication. Am just so stressed out as i am not going to pay £380 when i have been keeping up with the payments and had it agreed over the phone with Wonga directly for 94.22 a month.

Am just worried and asking what i would need to do. Both offices are closed as i have tried to call them. As it is a final demand from PDP i dont want to get a CCJ because of this mix up between wonga and PDP

  • Do a SAR request from Wonga.
Seems to me they have added charges for either bounced payments or missed payments before you came to the arrangement to repay.

write to pdp and say that you will only deal with wonga and currently have an agreed payment plan.
  • Hi, i also have a wonga loan of £640 that is due end of this month. Im going to speak to them and try to arrange a payment plan.

What i would like to know if how you stopped them taking money from your bank. Did you report your debit card as lost. Or do they do direct debits?

I think they are taking my payment via debit card is there any other way they could take this money if i cancel card in meantime.

    Thanks
  • Wonga:??? That bunch of c*r-0//@@@@@k;;;;s!!! They even advertise they charge interest at an eye-watering 2,689% (it can be higher!!)

Do all you can to get away from them...

    Hope it works out, cheers!
