Reg mobile contracts & bankrupsy Q

Hi

Reg the T mobile contracts that i have out for myself and daughter

I want rid off my contract when i take the LILLA route on the 7th sept but she wants to keep hers , also if i add them both to my bankrupcy what happens with the handsets ? she wants to keep her phone i lost mine anyway a while back so only have a cheap wee phone

she has just turned 18 so i could try and transfer her one to her
( been on phone to them and they said she can but will depend on a credit check ) which i doubt she will get as she has no credit , they are sending the forms to her ( i have obv not told them that iam adding my contract to the LILLA )

I want to transfer my number to an 02 sim but need the pak code and i will not be able to get this untill i change my provider !! and i cannot tell t.mobile that i will be changing as its a contract iam on HELP !!!

( been on phone to them and they said she can but will depend on a credit check ) which i doubt she will get as she has no credit oh I dunno...T-mobile are one of the only firms that seem a little easier with people & credit probs..could you not switch her to PAYG/30 day contract & keep her phone?..wouldnt worry though about them asking for handsets back that'll be very doubtfull , they are sending the forms to her ( i have obv not told them that iam adding my contract to the LILLA )

I want to transfer my number to an 02 sim but need the pak code and i will not be able to get this untill i change my provider !! and i cannot tell t.mobile that i will be changing as its a contract iam on HELP !!! how long has the contract left to run? they'll not sadly allow you to port to any other provider either still in contract or once they close the account if you include in LILA paperwork.could you not ask for the cheapest tarrif available & keep till the contract ends? that way you could at least keep your number...otherwise it'll be a new one i'm afraid

    Just a few thoughts :D

    Thank you for your input

her contract has about a year to run i just want rid off mine altogether as its too expensive and i just want a pay as you go

i begged with them a few months ago to reduce the payment and give me less call/txt time but they wouldnt help

her contract is £25 a month and gets 700 min and unlimited txts i have been paying this but now she will have to find & pay for her own

i think i will have to add both to the LILLA and we will just have to start again
hopefully she doesnt have to give her phone back i dont know if she will be able to get her own contract with no credit score ( she is starting uni soon )

    thanks

very very doubtfull they'll ask for the handsets back (they fetch next to nothing second hand unless its an Iphone etc!)

some providers will shy away from someone with no real credit history...BUT t-mobile & Three UK have been known to offer credit even to people with very poor credit history....if she wanted to keep her phone then give 02 a try as well...they may offer a 30 day contract & see how she manages and in a few months if they see regular use & payments they might offer an upgrade to a proper contract with all benefits
