Recommend me a Current Account

Hi, i am currently in the process of setting up a DMP with CCCS. Because one of my creditors is also the main bank i deal with i have been told to either make this account a cashcard account only or to set up another account elsewhere.
Basically what im looking for is an account that will let me and my partner pay our wages into it, allow us to pay our direct debits and also have a debit card facility but with no overdraft. I now have a poor credit rating, is this likley to affect my chances of gettin a basic current account?
I cant get an account with Abbey, Lloyds TSB, Virgin, Clydesdale, Alliance and Leicester or Barclays since we are in debt to all of these.
Any recommendations or suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

HI
We've got the natwest step account. Comes with a solo card that you can use for just about anything. Just no overdraft or cheque book.

You could still try Barclays. My ex OH went BR last year and Barclays were one of his biggest creditors and they still allowed him a basic account with Visa debit. They are BR friendly so worth a try?Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
