Oops, sorry, the total household income in scenario 2 would be higher, so there may still actually be a small amount left over - household income would include child benefit. Assuming £18 child 1 and 3 X £11 per week = £51 added to household income of £448 = £499
After protected income, what is left is about £46 per week, so that is what the assessment should be. the housing costs may have been capped - so if they are different, this may account for the nil assessment. If none of the above applies, there is a huge disparity and you should be entitled to get all the arrears back.0 -
Hi
nrpp has 3 children, and I do know that her weekly take home wage is £200+ (lady who spoke to me was doing calculations by calculator over the phone, so that inadvertantly slipped out). Their rent is £80 a week. All the woman dealing with my case would say was that by her calculations, my ex-husband would not be very happy with the new assessment which would count from May 29th when both incomes would be calculated, no figures were mentioned, other than from Jan 7th, payments should have been £27.00 a week and not nil, until May 29th when this new assessment would come in. I havent heard anything since. All I was concerned about was just receiving something, as that would help.0 -
Ok, new assessment should be about £79 per week then!!0
