Our decision has been made....

Well I spoke with a Payplan advisor for over 30min last night and I have to say I wasn't overly impressed with her but lets not go there.

She explained the DMP and IVA and it scared the life out of me, because we have a new debt we can't do either just yet we have to wait 3-6months. My husband and I spoke about everything and basically we are not going for either there is no way we want to lose everything, yes we will struggle but we will have to tighten our belts to the tightest notch and get an extra job etc.

I do have my own business and my friend is designing my site as we speak, the business itself has been going about 5 years and have made good amounts of money its just not frequent enough so will need to really market it so any ideas for free marketing would be great. It is a Secretarial business am also going to start a cleaning/ironing business as I know there are clients out there willing to pay for this service.

I do feel better but still worry but I know this is the best way forward, i have managed to reduce some of our policies only by £30 or so which isn't huge but every penny counts, we are going to get a smaller car ours is a 1.6 so need something like a 1.25 so searching today although our MOT and Tax is due this month but will just have to get that done and sell ours.

Any advice on making money would be so great, I love E-bay I have 900+ 100% positive feedback from buying and selling so sell sell it is, have so many toys to sell and this will go towards the girls christmas presents and we WILL stick to a tight budget on that and what ever is spare we will save to put towards other debts I guess.

I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU :T to everyone who replied and I will be on here daily or when ever I can and will be strong and stay focused.

A x

Valued Opinions is one of the best survey sites in my opinion and free scratchcards from Bingo sites such as Virgin Games and Butlins Bingo (or any of the Miniver sites), typically bag me 20p-75p a day.
