Leapster L Max or VSmile Pocket?

My littlie is going to be 6 soon and he has been begging for one of these.
On Amazon the Leapster is £65 and the VSmile is £59 so not too much in it pricewise.
Has anyone got either of these and can you recommend one over the other??
Which has the greatest variety of games and are they reliable??
TIA

I asked the same question a few months ago.... You might be able to do a search on the forum and you'll see the responses. The couple of people that replied came back and said V Smile Pocket. I ended up buying one of them (can't tell you if DD loves it or not as not her birthday for a couple of weeks yet!). There are some half price games in Woolworths too(or there were a couple of weeks ago).
I think they are much of a muchness and whatever you choose seem pretty similar. I do wonder whether your 6 year old will get the benefit though. My daughter will be 4, and a I know a few other people who have similar and their 6 year olds don't play with theirs much anymore.
Maybe others on here will have a bit more of an idea about age?? xx0 -
Yeah - that's one of the things i thought about - i think the leapster has games from 6-10 as well so might veer that way.Noli nothis permittere te terere
