What have you done today thats DFW stylee 3/05/06

Hope no-one minds if I start this one off today, thanks to whoever started the original thread, it really keeps me motivated & inspired reading all your posts!

So far today washing is on line blowing nicely :)

Received my first survey from a lovely lady from Leeds Uni to fill in so I've done that & sent it back, 2 more surveys to go & if I'm one of the 1st 255 to return then I get a £20 high street voucher. If I'm successful it will go towards Xmas :)

Yesterday I had a birthday tea to make & instead of the usual takeaway which I would've spent £30 on for 6 people I went to Iceland & spent £15.85 on buffet food, bogofs & special offers & have put half of the food away for another birthday which is coming soon. So I bought 2 birthday teas for about £8 each & there's food left over from yesterdays tea as well :)

Have been sorting out a space to hide all the bargain Xmas & birthday pressies I've been picking up each week. Never been so organised before in my life!

Oh & dare I mention it, it's day 9 of not smoking so doing a bit better this time!

Have a great moneysaving day everyone!

Bought lunch into work - it was horrible. Pasta with a tomato-ey sauce, but had been sitting in my fridge for a while - yuck!!

Also chased up a £5 Boots voucher (from screen select), and some pigsback points I havent received.

We must use the same stationary company Emmzi ;) !!

    Sorted out finances = depressed!!

    Ok day I suppose. xx

I got covered in embarrassing amounts of fluff and dust searching under beds for the box of wine glasses I bought as part of wedding present for daughter (wedding was a fortnight ago!) Fortunately she doesn't know there were glasses to match the china and glass we bought her, but it's driving me mad!

They were an amazing bargain in Stoke on Trent (I really recommend the factory shops esp for wedding presents), and I won't be able to replace them.

I found 2 huge Boots sale teddies I'd completely forgotten about, so they'll be perfect for 2 and 3 year old granddaughters for Christmas, and they finally prompted me to write a list of what I've got in and where it's all hidden.

If I'd just found the b****y glasses I'd be feeling I've had a useful day, but as it is I'm still just CROSS.

Made veggie sauages rolls from ingredients which had been lurking in the back of my cupboard. Put these in the freezer for another day.

Shopped at Asda being very careful of what I spent. Picked up biscuits which are mispriced. I didn't have time to go to CS but I'll do it next time I'm in and ask for my £2 gift card.

    Pigsback click throughs.

Sold my first DVD on Amazon - will post that tomorrow. Edit: Now sold a second DVD!

A La Redoute free gift sold on eBay buy it now so I posted that earlier.
