just wondering if someone would be kind enough to break the whole process down for me? like when do i have to pay?

can i collect forms first b4 paying?

  • Yes, you get the forms first and then you pay the BR fees on the day of your appointment at court.:)

    You pay the fees in cash - you turn up at court (having made the appointment), they go through your paperwork to check it's all present and correct. They take your money, you swear on the bible and then wait to see the Judge (some people don't even need to see the Judge). The Judge asks if you have taken advice but doesn't ask much else. Seeing the Judge took less than 5 minutes for us. The whole process of Court took half a day and this was spent waiting around mostly. Oh, and the OR will give you a brief call whilst you're there. No big deal though.

    Also ask for EX160 form, you might be eligible for a help with court fees if you are on any kind of benefits or your annual income is below certain level. It's all explained in the form.
