if you have disconnected from sky waiting for a good offer to return to then you maybe in market for this offer.
i connected yesterday and have one kids mix and movies for approx £17 month for the next 6 months (so will also get viewing over the christmas at that price:j) the good thing was that i could terminate sky anytime with 30 days notice so not locked for 12 months. so when the offer expires in march i will cancel until the next offer.

i called back today saying my sky plus box makes a loud vibrating sound at various intervals and if an engineer could come out and get it replaced, was getting the sales gimp to go for the hd box etc...i informed them that if they would not replace my box for free then i would cancel within my 7 day and go on to purchase freesat...then i got offered an hd box and install for free only thing is i would be tied into a 12 month contract for doing so and the extra £9.75 on top of my already subscription.

it was an unenveloped "if you come back to sky promotion" postcard..the address printed digits was mine but there was nothing on the card that was personalized to me if you get what i mean...lets say if i saw the card and read that card in a friends junkmail i would assumed it applies to any sky disconnected previous customer as long as you apply by september 3rd. hth
