Hubby and I just had an awesome week of total slobbiness. This we was nice and lazy but now we are planning our honeymoon to New Zealand (from 28Nov to 10Jan).

TBH, the pics people put on facebook do not do justice to the dress and the work that went on it. If anyone asks me whether they should go the China, I would reply: Hell yes! My dress was only £250 from Sweetsend and it was a custom job, the petticoat was made by Linda for £30 and my hairclip was £15 off ebay. I wuld have prob spent 1G to 1.5G if I had gone for designer stuff through a normal bridal shop. I would rather spend that money on my flights!

We have seen the official pictures our photographer took and I nearly cried: I got fed up with steaming my dress, moving it from room to room so hubby could use computer/do some sports in the gym/get this from that room that I forgot to stop and realise how pretty it was.

Yellowbug: unfortunately, we never thought about taking closeups of the bouquet. If you PM me your email addy, I can send you some better pictures of it. It was made out of fake ivory roses, different types of ivory feathers, a few red feathers and a few sparse diamantes. i can also send you the links to the people I ordered all the crafty bits from. I also made my BM's bouquets, hairclips and bracelets. The most I spent on crafty bits would be £80 tops (inc cake, car decs and buttonholes too).

Tigerlilly: the venue was Southampton Civic Centre (or mainly council offices). We are so glad the white staircase worked out so well!
