Can anyone tell me if its is ok to apply to become a Bursar if you have declared your self bankrupt a few weeks prior??
I'm basically being made redundant as the company i currently work for are offering us jobs that are in fact nealry £3000 less than i get at the moment!! meaning my money will stupidly low and with the monthly court costs i have to pay will leave me about £40 a week to live after bills etc!!
So am i able to apply for jobs like a bursar or will my cv be rejected if i have to state my current financial situation?!?!
and will they look down on me as i am a bankruptcy?!
can anyone help at all!?!?!?!
please

aimee,
If your income is going down, contact the court about reassessing you.
Depends whether the bursar job requires an accounting qualification and what the application form says.
Generally getting a job in financial services is very difficult if you have been declared bankrupt, but a bursar job at a school for example wouldn't be specifically excluded.
Good luck
