E: 13/10 Win a trip to Malaysia

My first post on this forum! The answer I believe is Sarawak

Win a trip to Malaysia

2946.jpg An orang-utan in Malaysia

The best thing about Malaysia isn’t its sun-dappled beaches. Or its steamy jungles. Or even the tantalisingly aromatic sizzle of its world-class cuisine. No, the best thing about this Asian nation is the fact that you can have them all, in abundance, whichever part of the country you choose to travel to.

Malaysia is modern yet traditional, truly wild yet easily accessible, packed with adventure yet the perfect place to unwind. From the mainland peninsula to Malaysian Borneo, you’ll find peaks to climb, coastline to relish, and people always ready to give you the warmest welcome.

Intrepid Travel, Tourism Malaysia and Etihad Airways are offering one lucky reader a place on Intrepid Travel’s fantastic 12-day Sabah – the Land Beneath the Wind itinerary. Starting in Kota Kinabalu, you’ll explore the city before heading off to climb Mount Kinabalu (and relaxing in Poring hotsprings afterwards), delve into the Kinabatangan rainforest, chill out on Turtle Island, meet orang-utans at Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre and spend the night at a traditional homestay

You'll just need to alter the end date so it looks like all the others.Great first post though.
  • If I hadn't just been to Sabah in July I'd definitly enter this, didn't get to go to turtle island when I was there but people on the tour I was on had been and said it was amazing! Kota Kinabalu isn't great but Mount Kinabalu is beautiful (but hard going - you have to be fit to do it!) Kinabatang Rainforest is pretty cool - we saw proboscis monkeys, macaques and gibbons, as well as crocodiles and loads of bird life - watch out for the leeches though! Good Luck, whoever wins this will have an amazing trip!
