Hi guys,
I recieved a letter a month ago from Nottingham Court. At the time I thought nothing of it as I was about to go away to my parents for a month. But I got back to a letter saying that I now have a CCJ and that I was suposed to make my first payment by the 2nd of september. I have just lost my job , so even if I had been back in time it wouldn't of been able to pay it as I have no money.
I will definitly pay, just not in massive installments as I don't have the cash.
I'm getting scared now, as there are no phone numbers on the letters, just court addresses and the Bulk Office number
. I don't even know how to talk to these people. I am seriously worried.
Help! where do I start trying to sort this out, without them coming and taking away my posessions. I am on JSA if that helps.

Hi
Sorry I can't really offer you any advice re the CCJ although I know you have a right to appeal you may have missed the 14 day deadline. There are some great people on this site who will be able to give you very good advice. It might be worth you sending a PM to 10Past6 who is great on this sort of thing.
Hope you get it sorted and try not to worry too much.I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

If the instalments are not affordable you can apply to vary (change) the order using a form N245
It's explained on this factsheet
Factsheet | Reducing payments or suspending a Bailiff's Warrant on a County Court Judgment
Is this your only debt?0
