Could you put cornflour into a chicken casserole or is it only for soups?

No reason you can't put cornflour in chicken/beef/turkey casserole BB, I have. I strat with one teaspoon stir and see if it's thick enough, adding more til it's right.
It's only a game

As MrsB says, you can def use it in casseroles & stews.
I have a confession..........I have never before this week, used it in soup - I followed a recipe for celery soup which called for adding it and it was lovely.:T I usually just use a potato mashed down to thicken if it needs it or cook some flour off after sweating the onions/veg.0 -
Think i will try thickening it with gravy this time, its been on since 11am am wondering when it will be ready?

You could always serve them on the side as a vegetable side dish. Boiled parsnips, roast parsnips, mashed parsnips, or even parsnip chips.carlamagee wrote: »thanks guys!!!! my stew was lovely!!
