Sweetcorn in the slow cooker

Hi all
I am making an 'everything' chicken casserole in my slow cooker - it has the last of everything I have harvested from the garden and I was going to add some sweetcorn (defrosted from the freezer).
Is it okay to add this in at the beginning, or should I wait for the last hour?
I use my slow cooker all the time, but have never put sweetcorn in!!!!
Thanks

I bung it in at the beginning and it seems fine.
Frozen peas go a funny colour if you cook them in a casserole too long so they are really the only ones I'd add near the end.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
I would add them at the end or last hour or so - but if Newlywed has added at the beginning with no problem - I would just do what you are comfortable with!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
