ipod docking/speakers

I want to get OH a set of speakers/docking station for his ipod (well mainly so I can listen to it whilst in garden!!) Is it a case of pay more get better or are they much of a muchness? I dont want anything which will reverbarate the windows but just to have some background music.

Can't fault it, works well with his iphone (2g) & comes with attatchments for other ipod models & for the price I think it's a very good bit of kit!

We have a JBL unit which is pretty good. Think it was around £80 from Tesco... it depends how much you want to spend. I did read that JBL are quite well regarded but there are a lot of different opinions in this area. I always find the product reviews on Amazon quite useful for electronic items.

Hi,
I have a JBL set of speakers as well which are the travel ones, called On Tour. They are very good indeed. Harman Kardon Soundsticks are simply brilliant; i have good speakers on my hi-fi so can't justify expense but my friend bought a set on my recommendation and they are excellent. Very loud though!0
