I was going to post this but didn't know it was nation wide as my store often has sales on when other stores don't. I was very MSE and bought things in sets of 2's which were roughly the same price as each other, therefore getting an expensive item free. Where other people where going mad buying a load of stuff but was only getting £1 items free if they had bought like a pair of socks etc

I got a few good basics for baby on the way. One of my transcations she couldn't get the higher priced item to scan at all no matter what she did, even the label inside wouldn't scan so she charged me for the cheaper one and i got the dearer one free :j

Our Ethel's has been closed for two weeks now (Hinckley) and there's a repossession notice on the windows. I guess they forgot to pay the bills. Shame as it's great for kids clothes so would have gone for a look

According to the list of stores in post 3, Selby seems to be "no fixed address" at the moment, too! Love the way that in post 4 MSE has edited the spelling of S c u n t h o r p e, too... :rotfl:

Same here, although ours (and the one I worked in) opened back up again after being closed with Administration notices in the windows for a couple of weeks
