This is what I've got in my kitchen:
Freezer:
3 Birds Eye Fish Fillets
Puff Pastry
Mixed Veg
Fridge:
Parmasan Cheese
Mature Cheddar x2
Baked Potatoes x2
Soda Bread x3
Potato Cakes x3
Butter
Cupboards:
Onion x8
Tinned Tuna x4
Mixed Spices
Basmati, Long Grain, Brown, Risotto & Pudding Rice
Spaghetti Pasta
Noodles x3 packets
Packet of Red Lentils
As per "Economy Gastronomy", I'm trying to plan my week and shop. But was wondering if I could make anything out of what I've already got, or atleast you those ingredients as a base.
Looking at it all, I think the rice definitely needs to be eaten up - didn't realise I had so much.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could make a fish pie with the puff pastry and the fish, if you have any flour, butter and milk you could make a white sauce and serve that with some veg and some rice if you wanted?
Baked potatoes with tuna or cheese and onion.
A pasta bake with the pasta and some more tuna and mixed veg.
You could do a fish stew with one of the fillets, a bit of risotto rice and some lentils.
Also you could make some soup with the onion, frozen veg and lentils, served with some of the soda bread.
The potato cakes I'd have for breakfast or as snacks, these and the soda bread can be frozen if you can't use them straight away.
How many do you have to feed? It's just me and bf so I'm used to cooking for 2, obviously if you've got more then most of these won't work!**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

first thought is - tuna and mixed veg, covered in a rich cheese sauce - very filling! be sure to make more than you need and freeze! serve with wedges or chunky chips!
buy a couple of beef stock cubes and make onion soup with 6 of the onions.
if you have enough potatoes and cheese then a load of home made cheese and onion pasties with your puff pastry and 2 onions left over from the soup.
just a quick glance from me but hope it helps!;)0
