Asda cancelled delivery on day my £10 off voucher runs out.

Any suggestions as to how to get my £10 off Asda delivery over £50 ?

- I had an order due to be delivered today using the voucher, but they phoned and cancelled because they had a shortage of drivers- I was at work at the time and not in a position to argue about the voucher - any suggestions how to get the e-voucher backto give me my £10 off? - or is it just a sneaky way to get out of giving me £10 quid off my shopping?:p

Hi, I'm an ASDA driver and if this has ever happened at our store - which is very rare - your order would simply be rearranged to be delivered the next day.
Have you actually had it cancelled with no option for re-delivery?

  • My delivery on Saturday was cancelled and Asda could not deliver until Monday, I cancelled my order because I was so annoyed with them. I did not have bread milk etc. They had already taken money from my account and I still don't have it back. When I phoned CS offered me 10 pound of my next shop but TBH don't think I'll be using Asda. I would phone Cs and ask for another voucher.

I'm sure you won't lose out on the £10.

And I for one, will be interested to hear what they say and do to keep your Goodwill and Continued Custom.

For that, £10 seems a small price to pay because if they lose either of those then they lose say, £50 per week for 50 weeks per year for 10 years, which as an example, equals £25,000's worth of shopping.

I wasn't going to be available the next day, I work all day then was out at night for my martial arts class, so no two hour window - besides, I don't order shopping for when I've got food in the fridge, so what were we meant to have for breakfast, packed lunch and that night's dinner, assuming I stayed home from class?

In the end I went to Sainsbury's when Asda would have been delivering.
