Writing reviews with Associated Content?

I write reviews online to get a little extra income, I came across this American website which seems to be a good site to make money from.

I was wondering if any other MSE are signed up to the site and could give me any helpful info on how it works and how to get started.

I've done a search for this and can't seem to find anything about associatedcontent except people citing their articles. Any help/info will be greatly appreciated:D

This lot actually read your reviews prior to publishing them. From exp. they won't accept any review or article on money-making schemes, earning a living from doing surveys, or any item that encourages a person to click-through to another site.

Apart from that, you can write about anything you want. Bear in mind though, that if you write on specialized subjects, then you may not have many visitors, and therefore no income.

The main thing with AC is that, unless you live in America, you don't get the $10 per article so your earnings are based on page views. This means you need to do a lot of leg work in marketing your articles on forums, maybe through a blog. It's a lot of work for little return in the end. You need 1000 page views to get $1.50 and can spend hours promoting your articles and not get anywhere near this.

The upside is that you retain the rights on your work (as you don't get the $10), so you can publish them in lots of other places to get return.

There was a thread on here the other day about writing for income which contains lots of useful info on doing this to make money. I'll have a scoot and see if I can link the thread.
I'll have some cheese please, bob.
