overcooked rice in my slow cooker ! what to do ?

I managed to overcook rice in my slow cooker !
Scraped the top layer off which i am going to use with tonights tikka chicken and salad but there are a couple of mushed up portions which i am loathe to throw away and wondered if there is anything i can do with it. Going to add a bit to my nettle soup i am about to make but what else.....i almost feel i could make it into a face pack !!

    I love overcooked rice!

However, If it's not terribly overcooked it can sometimes be resurrected by adding some water and heat...

  • make lentil soup and at the very end once the soup is cooked mix the rice in. i sometimes put potatoes into mine and my mum is to do a soup by taking the pan that had the mashed potato in and adding lentils/veggies/water to that to make a lovely pot of soup. the rice would just more or less be the same as the potatoes
  • Try adding a tin of tuna and make rice fishcakes
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
