Become a wedding/party planner

Hello,
I have been struggling with money recently due to the recession and I have decided to come up with some ideas to help me raise some money and provide a better future for myself and my family. I currently run my own party entertainer business and I'm looking to expand further. I have great business accumen and creative skills and I was thinking of setting up a business that compliments my current business. This is where I have decided to do some research on becoming a wedding/hen party planner.
I currently work full time and I run my party business in my spare time and at weekends, but at the moment the parties have become very quiet. So I' m using this time to do some constructive research and planning. It would be great if there is anyone in the Essex area that is also wanting to set up a business along this route to become a team, and hopefully one day a successful business. If anyone is seriously interested in setting up a wedding planning business then please PM me.
For those who have any advice regarding wedding and party planning, or have any contacts it would be greatly appreciated.
