How bad is her credit rating? Mines preety bad with a quite a lot of missed payments etc, but Im fairly sure i can get a loan from most high street lenders.

Ask your mate to look at being debt free, by coming on the debt-free-wannabee page where we can helkp find extra money to avoid sharks like Welcome Finance.

I'd rather starve than borrow money from companies like this.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Hello everyone,

I have received my credit report from "annualcreditreport.co.uk" and I can say that it was very informative! :T and easy to understand. I got my experian paper report through and I could not really make head nor tail of it!

the annualcreditreport one shows you lots of information such as
    Electoral roll confirmation,
    CCJs/Insolvencies,
Payment track record, (including lenders names!!)
    Credit applications/searches,
    Fraud alerts,
    Notices of correction registered,
    Linked addresses recorded.

it also matches you with lenders that might be willing to lend to you in your circumstances

only down side is that costs you £3.77 (odd amount!!) to see your score and rating. but hey!

on a slightly different note --- nice to see devon and cornwall getting something first for a change!!:j

PS - stay away from welcome finance - I read somewhere that they are now doing a whopping 54% interest for a personal loan!!!
