  • good thing i found in my local poundland have sugar 1.5kg for £1 nearly £1 everywhere else for 1kg
    £365 in 365 - £2/£365
  • A couple of weeks ago, I was in our local Poundland getting a few bits and bobs and DH decided he wanted to a couple of the wee bottles of Irn Bru (250ml) Stuck them in the basket and went to pay for everything. Checked my receipt on the way out and noticed it said Irn Bru= £1. Tootled back to the lad and asked him if that was right. . .'Yes' he says, 'They are 4 for a pound' I was a bit baffled at this and told him I was charged £2 for two bottles, not 50p (there was no sign up with the price on it) He told me that they were 4 for a pound, or £1 each! I got a refund and then bought my 4 bottles, lol
  • I think that's a good example of people needing to pay attention! Some folk think 'ooh, poundshop = cheap = cheapest" which is at times, flawed logic. Not MSErs, of course, but you get my drift!
    On the up :D
