Parking at Muirtown Basin, Inverness

Hi

We're going on a canal cruise in November and understand there is secure car parking at Muirtown basin.

Can anyone tell me if this has to be booked in advance and how far it actually is from Inverness town centre.

    Oh I'm jealous, is it the lord of the glens?
    Muirton basin isn't far from town, you can walk from the town centre in 10-15mins.
    Not sure about the parking try phoning British waterways (they operate the locks) or Caley Marinas or your cruise provider.
