Sorry to here about your problems buddiebabe. Last year I spent a day off phoning (and phoning) the gas people who damaged our sewer pipe when they put in some new pipes - I couldn't even use the loo!

I was so happy with myself yesterday for making a load of HM soup ready for lunch - but I left it in the fridge!

Walked to tesco and spent £1.71 so it wasn't too bad - since it included some low fat cream cheese that I can use in my sandwiches when the soup runs out.

My son had an appointment at The Sick Kids in Edinburgh today. Spent £7 on train tickets (had a special promotional offer thing) £4 on a taxi and i think £1.98 on some crisps and juice (for 3 of us). Total cost: £12.98 Didn't go into any shops, and waited till we got home for lunch.

Got to go back again tomorrow. Grrr. I think it will probably be a waste of time. I'm skint now and had to borrow money from my mum to pay for tomorrows trip.

Today it was a speninf money day :(

£9.30 in total at the Post Office. Sent a parcel of a CD I sold on Amazon, got some stamps and, more importantly, I 'invested' £3.78 in a recorded delivery letter to my bank. I am starting the process for claiming back charges

Unplanned spend of £16.60 for 4 presents (3 for Xmas, 1 for birthday). All 50% or more off, so pleased with those as normally spend £10-15 on each (and comes out of money from monthly savings). Not many pressies left to get and it's only May!!!

Got hit with £10 for school fund, DS's sponsorship money (£5), a letter increasing charges to After School Club (works out £7 a week extra to find  ) and a payslip that confirmed why my nett pay has gone down from 1st April - damn increase in NI. £7 less a month take home now.

    Not a happy bunny
