2 Days to go!

Hello I have filled out all the forms and am just stuck on the reasons section.

I would say my reasons are a mixture of the following:
Being self employed a change in the economic climite hence less work(money) thus spending more on credit to get by.
I did gamble a bit in a bid to get a win stupid i know !
Basicly been living off credit and robbing peter to pay paul so to speak.

Any idea on what I can give in a way that doesnt sound to silly.
Or is a basic brief explonantion ok as interview will be in more depth?
I cant wait for this to end its stressing me out.

Many Thanks.

Skint.

  • Hi, I'm in the same place so can empathise! I have just put a short general explanation on my form. Friends who have been through it say it really isn't that bad once you are there. Good luck I hope it will be a weight off your shoulders!

Just write down a brief explanation including what you wrote above. Maybe put some kind of time reference like ... in January 2009 my hours at work were cut meaning my income went down etc.

I agree with FYP your reasons are fine, afterall it's the truth of how you ended up in debt. Include some dates and that should help the OR to get an idea of how long you've been experiencing difficulties. Good luck.
