It looks like youve gone over your agreed overdraft charge the month before?

Dont worry you can claim these back https://www.bankactiongroup.com/forum

gosh they really do pile it on..just looked that their website
£25 for bouncing cheque/going over the overdraft limit
plus monthly charge for being overdrawn of £15 plus daily charge of £5 plus interest of course.

i would phone them and see if you can talk them out of the charges..i'm sure you have a good reason why you went just slightly over before using the formal claims route.

also and off topic i'm sure, why are you using the smilemore a/c as it has a £7.5 monthly charge ...do you make use of the benefits?

no I don't I just wanna close it but am overdrawn up to the limit!

I haven't gone over the limit so should be charged??

also I have an account with lloyds who have just charged me £302 for being overdrawn and bounced cheques etc...I know this is my fault but I have enough money in the account til they take their charges and pushes me back down! is there anythingI can do? I have been on the phone to them but it did no good...al they did was offer me a staggered overdraft!

Yes, you can claim the money back from excess charges. Check the link I gave you above for full details. Otherwise, just give them a ring to find out if they will refund you.

Just give them a ring and ask them to explain why you have been charged in this way. It could be an error. If it isn't, appeal to their goodwill for a refund.

It could be simpler than going through the bank action group method
