    Have been busy...went for a curry with friends for NYE and stayed over at one friend's house so we had some drinks.

    Today was my godson's first birthday party, so I went there and had a very nice time indeed. :)

    Also, I've been having a big think about my New Year's Resolutions. There are a lots of them, and I need to see what I can do about making them happen for real.

    It's currently lost in The Battle of the Bedroom. :rotfl: It has been a three day war so far, and the bedroom is putting up an almighty fight, but I am a much more experienced combattant and when it puts up the white flag I will [STRIKE]dig them out[/STRIKE] remove them from the top of my beautifully clean desk and let you know what the list says! :p

    Is that room tidied yet?

    Resolutions are hard to pin down, I set my expectations of myself too high and then give up a week later because I haven't met them! Duh!
    LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.
    (CC/LOAN = [STRIKE]36,378.98[/STRIKE] 35668.47. O/D = [STRIKE]1255.32[/STRIKE] 1212.35/[STRIKE]1999.78[/STRIKE] 1934.52, BUS = [STRIKE]9769.76[/STRIKE] 8714.98)
    Challenge = Debt at 31/01/12 = £25k. 2011 Payments = £1,944.19/£24,403.84

    There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

    Don't talk to me about tidying your room. Mine is a complete mess.

    It's mostly there. I'm just going up to do some more now. I make myself sound like a complete pig, but it's not as though it's dirty, it's just that there is so much stuff in there that as soon as you move one thing the domino effect occurs and you end up with it in a big fat mess again!

    However, this time I have managed to clean out the last of my (mostly forgotten about) toiletries from the bottom of my walk-in wardrobe meaning that I can put my big bags in there, which has created much-needed space elsewhere. I have got rid of several bags worth of things to the charity shop, some to clothes recycling and got rid of loads of stuff that is no longer needed. There is still much to be done (including TONS of clothes to Ebay), but it is definitely better. And I found my relatively expensive missing musical instrument which is great as I KNEW it was in there somewhere! :o (Didn't like having to explain to my teacher when I turned up with an inferior model, and kept thinking to myself 'I don't deserve the really, really nice one if I can't even find the pretty darn nice one!' :o:o)

    Once the room is done, I'm going to start on the rest of my life. I don't know why, but I've always been a 'tidy room, tidy head' kind of girl. It wasn't useful when essays needed writing at uni, but hey ho...:rotfl:

    Off I go...and you, too, Ruby! *Shoos Ruby out of thread to her room*
