I just wanted to know how people feel about artificial flowers =)

They are much cheaper than real flowers & nowadays just as effective, i would like to know what your thoughts are ;)

Hi yes some artificial flowers are very nice but my own preference is real flowers, but each to their own.
If the world didn't suck we would all fall off ;)
  • hi i think it would depend on the occasion?
i like artificial and had them for my wedding
but if i was buying someone or reciveing flowers my self i would prefer real, they have a bigger impact as a gift.
    whats the occasasion?

    Yes, that's my thoughts too!

No occasion, i make arrangements as an hobby but would like to make it into a business...just wanted to know how people feel about them.
  • if its for a buissness its probaly worth making arrangements as both and adding to a portfolio that way customers can choose what they want.
if ur having a shop or somewhere people can view i would make up artificial displays as they will be no waste/added expense but state which displays can be made using real flowers.
i know there is a website which sells artificial flowers and is very sucessful sarahs flowers i think its called it might be worth looking on there.

My wedding flowers were artificial and nobody noticed except my grandmother, who loved them so much she pilfered them before we'd even had photos taken :)

I don't like cut flowers, it makes me sad that something has to die for my pleasure.

  • I had artificial flowers for my wedding because they are cheaper. And I arranged them myself. But it also makes a great keepsake. Also, a lot of people commented on the flowers. So they worked in my favour but as a gift, real flowers are much nicer.
  • Thanks for all the replys!
