new payment schedule

right we have received a new schedule in the post, we have overpayed by £84 and this has been taken off the arrears. This month we are to pay £70.08 regular payment and £252.93 arrears, next month its regular payment of £152.72 and arrears of £252.93. Will the regular payment for this month be correct? I'm just worried that if I pay that little I may be told I'm in arrears somewhere down the line. I suppose it must be right as its on the official schedule but I just want some reassurance lol

Your payments are in arrears, so if you are paying monthly then a month will go by before the payments change.
  • Yeah I know that I just wondered why our regular payment is less this month than it was last month and is next month, if that makes sense, all I can assume is that they have taken the£84 that we have overpayed off our regular payment

Anyway I have sent in a cheque today covering the total arrears on the account and so now hopefully we will only have our regular amount to pay :T

Unfortunately, this cheque you've sent in may arrive too late to stop this month's arrears payment being taken out as it takes a while for payments of this sort to be processed by the CSA.
You may end up with a new & different payment schedule.

CSA case closed on 02/09/10 :beer:
  • it will cover it as we pay by cheque anyway so all I have done is add all of the arrears on to our normal payment
